Forums revamped!

I just did a load of work totally revamping the forums. Unfortunately this means that all previous posts were deleted, but there were only 4 or so, so it should be okay. The forums now all have the correct permissions, and should be easier to navigate and post on. If you have any questions, post somewhere on the forums, or contact me (Valinn) in-game.

Alex,

I checked the Guild Member list for you, to see what permissions you had assigned to your character. Turns out you're not an accepted member of the guild yet. Just click the home button (top left) and then the "apply to the guild" text link (left), it'll come up with a little application form, you don't need to fill it out properly, just mention you're already a member, and I'll accept your application, and assign you access that will allow you to see and post on the member forums aswell.

I agree with you, Silvey! I like the old forums, and hate having to move here!!

However, we have too, as the old forum will be locked 8th august.
This due to that it was originally opened by Gethryon...
If he is to keep it open for us any longer, I think he will have to pay for it!

Better to move on to a new site that is kept up of people who is active! :-)

Actually, August 8th wasn't meant as a lockdown, it's just that my provider was switching to new software and not supporting old one (support for php 4 no more!)

They said the old forums were still using that and weren't sure if there would be any problems. I updated the forums a few days ago, and switched to the new software already, guess they're still up and running

The old forums will stay up till at least february next year not sure if I'll keep them after that since my subscription has to be renewed then. -- So, if you wanna visit them / use them / copy stuff, it's all still there.

Anyhow, for a guild, it's probably easier to keep all the info and stuff at one central place, and guildlaunch works ok. Signing up for raids and recruiting will be easier than ever ;)

Me and Tincan were experimenting with the colors last night as the site was very dark.... it's ligther now but as you can see we needd to do some work still
