re: Important Announcement for Members

****PLEASE READ****
Ok. After another blowout TK raid last night the officers all pulled up chairs and spoke about the number of issues with the guild at the moment. The main topics that effect the members is the Raid Schedule and numbers signing up for raids.
Now I would like to start by quoting my age old saying, We are not a military and we dont lay down rules and laws as to how much members have to raid and when and we are not about to start now. But we would like to say that we are a Raiding guild. When we accept members it is with a view to joining our Raiding team. I would also like to say that the level of players is not important. As long as you are geared to go Kara that is fine. Please feel free to sign for ANY raids posted even if perhaps you feel you are not of a gear level for it.We do have many players over the level required so we can take members who perhaps are now quite ready. That way when you have finished gearing from Heroics and Kara you have seen the content and are in a better position. This is perhaps not a true statement for Tanks I will admit.
<<<Regarding The Raid Schedule>>>
Although the guild is larger than it has been the 25 mans are still hard to fill. We proved with our first Maggy kills and Virgin raid on TK that we can put a FULL RMWP team together and it is easily strong enough to drop T5 Bosses. But we have decided to drop not only a T5 Raid from the schedule but to not have such a hectic raid schedule. This way we can focus on the T5 raids but have days in the week that no raids are scheduled allowing for people to relax and play WoW in other ways or just not play at all.
We are hoping this will lead to higher turn out for the important Raids, These changes will take place today and will effect Septembers Raids.
AN IMPORTANT CHANGE IS. On the days that Raids are not scheduled that does not mean you cannot Raid. If you want to go on someone else's Raid to Gruul, Maggy, BT or MH this is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with our progression raids in TK & SSC. Also if you want to Arrange a KARA or ZA raid with other guild members you are free to do so as long as it doesn't interfere with the Guild arranged Raids. We would prefer 10 mans are kept in Guild where possible.
The Officers will monitor how these changes effect turn out for Raids. And from now on will meet every 1 or 2 weeks to discuss guild issues. If you have any problems and queries please direct them to any of the officers who can raise them in the meetings.
Thanks for taking the time to read this notice.
Deeth and the Officers Team.
