Code Of Conduct

All members of RMWP should read these rules and follow them as best they can. These rules have been set to try to offer the best, most fair and fun gaming-experience for everyone!

Breaking any of the rules can lead to a disciplinary action. Officers will deal with all rule breaks on a per case basis, but can issue all or any of the punishments listed below.

1, Warning of future conduct
2, Tokens moved to -1
3, Labour task. IE you are to gather 2 stack of each Mat for Great Feast buff.
4, Banned from raids for X period on time.
5, Removal from guild for main and all alts.

General Rules

- As a member of RMWP you are to treat all other members with respect and tolerance!

- Members of RMWP are to follow the rules set by Blizzard for how to behave on a RP-PvP server, and otherwise act in accordance with any rule set by Blizzard for World of Warcraft.

- You shall treat every other player on this realm with respect, and encourage good gameplay and fair fun! Pointless ganking, spamming tradechannel, and other things that some might find offending, is not accepted!

- Applying to another guild while still a member of RMWP, will be delt with severely by Officers, as this shows severe disrespect for your fellow guildies!

Ranks

Guild Master - GM - Our boss! He/she has the last call on everything! Chosen by officers.

Vice GM - If the GM is not available, this person speaks in the GM's place. Chosen by officers.

Officer - Hardworking slaves who try to organize this and everything. They also work closely together to set guidelines for the guild to follow, together with the GM. If the guild need new officers, candidates are most likely taken from the Veterans rank. These will be discussed by the current officers, and candidates will be asked/interviewed before promotion.

Veteran Raider - Honory title who can be given Raiders who either/and:
- have a long and trusted history with the guild
- shows extended knowledge of their class, raids and wow in general
- otherwise have earned the title
Veterans are to be seen as the advisers for the rest of the guild, both officers and the rest! Their opinions will be considered heavily!

Raider - Full members who have proven themselves as proper raiders, and who raid with the guild on a regular basis.

Casual - Full members of the guild who for any reason doesn't raid or play regulary.

Trial - Person on trial. Before we add new members to our ranks as full members, they need to pass a trial. In general, good normal behaviour and a minimum of social intelligence is enough to pass trial! Officers will discuss every trial individually before the person is either asked to leave, or invited as full member of the guild. Our trial-period is not fixed, as every case is individual, and officers need to learn a bare minimum about the person on trial, before they can judge. During trial period no alts of the trialist will be allowed to join.

Inactive - Rank given to people who have been inactive for a long time without given notice in the forums. Can also be used if officers are discussing the future of given member in the guild, after breaking one or more of the guildrules.

Alt - Altcharacter of a full member (Casual, Raider or Veteran)
Officer Alt - Altcharacter of an officer, GM or Vice GM.

Raid Rules

- Firstly, no members of RMWP are allowed to do Pug-raids, or other raids outside the guild, unless you have an exclusive permission from the Officers. This rule applies for raids that RMWP, at any time, has in the current Raid-calendar!

- Exception from above rule: If a member has signed for a raid, but did not get a spot, he can be allowed to raid outside the guild for that week only! This permission can only be granted by an Officer.

- We expect your good will and motivation to our raids, and show decency towards the rest of the raiding group.

- Prepare yourself, and come to the raids fully repaired, in an accepted raid-spec for your class, geared as good as you possibly can. This includes enchants and gems. On budget, or when you know you will replace an item soon, we understand you won't put the most expensive enchants on, or all epic gems, however it is nice to see you put some effort into your gear! This shows respect for your fellow raiders!

- Come to the raids fully stacked up on anything your character needs to perform optimally! This includes arrows/bullets, shards, reagents for buffing, poisons, foodbuffs, flasks/elixirs and health/manapots.

- In raids that require you to have a flying mount to enter (I.E. Naxx), you will not be given a spot unless you have a flying mount! We can't summon people all the time!

- Every raider has a personal responsibility to keep themselves informed on tactics for the current raid, keep track of their own Token-count, and also what loot that might drop from this run (As a raider you should know if a drop is an upgrade for you, or not, beforehand!). This to keep the Raid and Loot-process as smooth as possible.

- Every raider should have the following add-ons installed, and updated to the latest version:
1. Omen
2. DeadlyBossMods or BigWigs
In the future, or for certain raids, additional (class specific or generic) add-ons may be added!

- Every raider should have Ventrilo. You don't need to be able to talk, but you should be able to listen! If you have trouble with getting Ventrilo to work, contact an officer!

- We will not discuss raid-rules or loot-rules during a raid! If you have trouble with rules, or disagree on anything during a raid, this should be given in whisper to either your RL (Raidleader), or an officer! If it can wait, the forum is the best place to post your thoughts!

- Give the RL respect for making the raid organized and clearing up tactics for different encounters.
Feel free to ask anything after the RL has finished explaining. If you think it doesn't make sense, try to look up some information on the forums or websites. If you disagree on the RL's tactics, this should be given in whisper to the RL.

- You are to respect the RL's distribution of resources. This goes for maintank/offtank-duty, healer-assignments, interrupt-duty, CC-duty, etc.
If you disagree, whisper your RL and explain why.

- If the RL asks for you to respec, you can say no! Also if you agree to respec, you can and should recieve compensation for your costs.

- While the RL explains tactics for an encounter, no chatting in any channel available for the raid is allowed, nor is emotes. (This includes /raid, /s, /g, Ventrilo... Everything available for the rest of the raid)

- While looting takes place, everyone is to respect the LM (LootMaster). No chatting in any channel available to the raid is allowed, unless it directly concerns the loot distribution.
If you win one item, wait until ALL loot is distributed before you cheer (ok, this CAN be hard, so ok... short and effective cheering is accepted! hehe..), ask for enchants, gems, link it in /g, etc.

- If you need to go AFK during a raid, try to ask your RL for a break! If it can't wait, you should inform your RL that you need to go AFK. Being AFK without a good reason OR failing to report it to the RL, can result in disciplinary actions (i.e. possibility of a token loss)

- If you have any complaints, contact your RL or an officer.

- Don't spam-post damage/healing reports during a raid, unless asked by RL.

- Work together with the people in your raid. You are part of a team.

- For certain raids and encounters there might be set a minimum or specific gearlevel/requirement. Two examples:
1. New progression-raids, where we wanna give it our best go possible.
2. Bosses/encounters that require a certain amount of resistance to some school of magic.
If any of these apply, it will be noted in the calendar!

- Have fun! Yes, this is a rule! :-)

Raid times:

Always double-check the correct raid times for your raid when you sign!

- Unless otherwise stated, our raid-invites start at 20.30 servertime.

- If people haven't showed, at 20.45 replacements will be called. (If you know you will be late for invites, but in time for the raid, put a note on your sign-up!)

- The raid starts at 21.00, or earlier if all people that signed showed and raid is full.

- Unless otherwise stated in the calendar, our normal curfew is 00.30. After this the raid can continue if people want to.

- If the RL calls a raid, the raid is over, no matter what time it is!

- To earn your right to tokens, you need to stay in the raid until curfew, or the RL calls it, whatever comes first. However, leaving during a bossencounter (in combat) at curfew will award you negative tokens!

The raid can call in replacements from the guild, but that replacement can not earn tokens from this raid. The replacement can still use his tokens on items as normal.

Loot Rules

First of all, we try run with a max 1 item pr day. If you have received this during a run you should consider yourself lucky! However, if noone else wants an item, instead of disenchanting, we rather give loot to someone who needs it, so it is possible for people to get more then their normal share from a raid.

Public Rolling

When we roll for gear in both 10- and 25-mans, to help the Loot Master distribute gear evenly and to those most in need, when you want an item you will first, in raid chat, link the item you have in slot and roll immediately after.

In 25 Man Progression dungeon raids we will do loot in two rounds:

1. First round is the Mainspec-roll. People who want the item should link their current in-slot item, how many Tokens they have, and roll. The LM will take both Tokens, rolls, and in-slot items into account to distribute loot as fair as possible.
People with the most amount of Tokens will normally be given priority.

Just remember, their Tokens are set to 0 if they receive loot, and people who get MORE then 1 Mainspec during a raid, is set to -1.
The LM will keep a track of the Token Table, and adjust this during the raid.

Also remember, having -1 Tokens does not exclude you from getting loot! It just gives you a bit lower priority to those with more Tokens.

2. If noone wants an item for Mainspec, it can be called for Offspec-roll. This often benefits the guild more then that items get disenchanted. Therefor, if you win one item on Offspec-roll, you keep your current tokens.

(Speculating in this to try to keep your tokens, may cause your tokens to be reset to zero anyway!)

- Always consider other people's interests when rolling on items, not just your own. What is a nice to have for you can be a must have for someone else.

- Officers can, in some cases, decide that only certain classes or persons should have priority on different pieces of loot. They will be fair and they'll think about the progress of the guild as a whole first. (Example: Rogues are not allowed to roll on ranged weapons, even if it has nice "roguestats", unless all hunters pass.)

25 Man Progression dungeon Loot System - Vetos

Once a person has 14 (Subject to Change) relevant iLevel items equipped they will be allowed to Veto one item when they sign for one of the above raids. The idea is someone who is just starting Naxx 10 will have numerous items they can take as an upgrade, but people with 15/16 Epics only have 1 or 2 items in the whole raid that will offer any improvement to the gear. Likewise with Naxx 25 and Uldaur 10 and of course future progression dungeon raids.

The relevant iLevels are as follows:

ICC10 -- You need 14 (TBC) epics of 251 iLevel or higher to Veto Item
ICC25 -- You need 14 (TBC) epics of 264 iLevel or higher to Veto Item

The Item iLevel will always be appropriate to the current content. The above is just an example, if you are unsure ask an officer for clarification

The VETO system in practice

If a player qualifies to place a veto – then a note needs to be added to the raid calendar sign up on the forum before the raid starts.

An officer will call out all the veto’s registered on Vent before the raid starts.

If two or more people have vetoed the same item, then they roll against each other should the item drop. (Veto gives you preference but does not guarantee you the item automatically)

Rules are:

1. You must have 14 relevant iLevel (or higher) items equipped to be able to Veto an Item. (not 14 items in total)

2. You must name your Veto when signing for the raid and it is only for that raid. At raid reset so does your Veto so you must Veto the item each week.

3. If two people Veto the same item, the person with the MOST Epics (IE the person with the least chance of getting loot from the run) will get the item. The person with lesser amount of epics is allowed to change his Veto if he wishes, prior to the raid.

4. If two people have the identical amount of relevant iLevel items, they may elect to roll against each other should the item drop. Highest roll wins.

5. If a person with a Veto on an item gets a different bit of loot from a run on any day in the week, their Veto is Void.

25 Man Progression Raid Loot System - The Priority System

At the End of each days scheduled 25 man progression dungeon raid anyone who didn't get any loot, and otherwise qualify, will be awarded a Priority Token. These tokens can be used to skip the rolling process on items and take an item from 25 man raids only. The 1 item + 1 Tier max rule still applies!

However, remember that these tokens are not DKP. They are only there to make the loot-distribution a bit more even. You should not save up your tokens! If a piece drops that is an upgrade for you, you should roll for it! If everyone starts saving up tokens, this system will fail to work!

Rules are:

1. To get awarded a Token you need to have signed available for the Raid on the forums, you have to to show up in time for invites (normally 20.30, but check the correct time when you sign up), and stay until the Raid is called by the RL, or at least to our normal curfew, 00.30 servertime.

2. If you know you need to leave the raid early, you are to inform your RL, before the raid. By doing so, you will not loose a token, but you will not earn one either.

3. You can have a maximum of 3 Tokens at any given time but you can have -1 tokens.

4. If you have 3 tokens you cannot spend them independantly, it just gives you priority over people with 1 or 2 Token.

5. Receiving any Epic item for Mainspec, in a 25 man Progression raid, will reset your Tokens to 0.

6. In all other instance prior in to the current Progression raid, you may "elect" to use your tokens as opposed to rolling. You do however have to state you are using your tokens before you roll. (Not roll a low number and then say - "oh - I am using my tokens". This means that in Ulduar, if an item drops you have a choice - do I roll and hope for highest (may only be a small upgrade) or ... I really want this? .... use your tokens.

7. You can check your Token status at any time on a special post that Officers will maintain in the Raid Forum.

8. Negative Tokens are awarded to People who:
8a. Leave a raid early for any reason, and have failed to inform the RL about this in advance (before the raid starts).
8b. Signing for a raid, but not showing up or unsigning.

9. Negative tokens can be given by officers as disciplinary actions for breaking guildrules of any kind. In such cases, the officers will discuss appropriate punishment.

10. If two people with the same amount of tokens both rolls for Mainspec on an item, the one with highest roll counts. The looser keeps his tokens, the winner is reset and gets the item.

11. Even if you are the only person in the raid who can use the item and you get it by default, you still lose your tokens.

12. The token are for Mainspec items. So you can still roll on an Offspec item if nobody wants it and keep your tokens.

13. If you are so lucky to receive more then 1 item + 1 Tier in a run, you will be set to -1 Tokens. You should NOT consider this a punishment! :-)

14. -1 tokens and 0 tokens are regarded as the same and do not give priority when rolling on a main spec item.
