The Aftermath of Battle
It has been a long and hard offensive. Battle has been fierce and unrelenting. It feels like just yesterday, waiting at the docks of Stormwind or The Wetlands - nervous anticipation of what awaited us in Northrend.
From the moment we disembarked, the pace was frenetic... new zones, new beasts, the race to skill ourself up to 80. Dark, dangerous and mysterious dungeons and bosses to conquer.
We threw our energy, focus and THE POWER OF PINK into destroying those that came before us.
The achievements where many, our determination and team work resulted in our foes tumbling before us and the satisfaction of constant victories.
It was hard, and many nights where spent picking ourselves up and trying again, but ultimately we always achieved our goal and always ended up feeling rewarded and ready for the next challenge.
Eventually we reached the pinnacle, Kel'Thuzad fell .... Pink Celebrations where spotted throughout Azeroth.... and not to long after this, we destroyed Malygos a mighty victory.
Our guild has reached 3rd position on the Guild Rankings in SSL according to Warcrafter and 15-19th on beIMBA. These are magnificent achievements.
So with only Sartharion and 3 drakes to achieve as a major guild target, we settled into a less frenetic pace ..... achievement runs have taken place and smaller elite groups have done wonderful work in knocking off achievements.
The pace has however taken it's toll.
We have lost many special people, core raid members are exhausted and many, who are used to constant achievement are frustrated due to the natural slow down in achievement. We have also attracted many new wonderful people. New members who need our help in experiencing things we have done many, many times before and seem maybe irrelevant to us.
So we are in a very tough place at the moment -achieving our major objectives we are in a limbo waiting for new content and Uldar..... many are bored, tempers flaring and we are not always behaving the Pink way. Many have forgotton the core reasons we joined this guild and how amazing it was to be part of the Pink philosophy. How the more experienced raiders always helped the new members, how we laughed as we wiped and learned, how we always had fun - not taking ourselves to seriously.
I really want to call for inner strength and calm at this stage. The new content will come... Uldar is a 4-5 weeks away, maybe sooner and brand new challenges await us. We are going to need every bit of our reserves and inner strength to tackle our new foes - we are going to need the brotherhood of Pink like never before.
ALL Guilds are experiencing this - the grass is not greener on the other side.
Lets communicate more, this forum is far to quite. Set up achievement runs, ALL sign up for raids.... all stay committed.
Let's remember who we are, be proud of what we have achieved and enjoy this time to notch off some of the tougher achievements, gear up all members to the maximum and to attract new members who can take the Pink dream to the next level.
STAY PINK!!
